about

In 2007 I was lucky enough to be given funding by music fans via a website called "Slice the Pie" to record and release an album.
In 2007 I released the Album "Scared of A Day Job" independently.

Writing and creating it was very personal to me, it was more of a journal or diary, and although some of the tracks are very fun filled with some comedy values, others were very true to some situations in my life at that time. This was actually the first time i'd ever "sung" on a recording to release, I'd usually only sing melodies on top lines as demos for other artists. This was the first "Jamie George" project. This is where the "Yeah Aye" was born.

The album was taken down to purchase by my own choice around 2010, but I still have people ask me about it, which hopefully means it was fun or touched some people, and like It did for me, maybe used it to get some shit off their chest/mind.

Also, if I'd never of made this album, my collaborations and long lasting friendship with Roska would have never happened, so I'm also greatful for that. Maybe closing one chapter and beginning a new one.

I've decided to upload a selection of the original 15 tracks.

If you want this for free just enter zero (0.00) as an amount,
or feel free to chuck across a few pennies if you'd like to.
either way, enjoy and your support is always appreciated.
